2) How we verify age

We use age-gating and may use additional verification measures to help prevent underage access, including:

• Date-of-birth entry and age confirmation during registration and/or before accessing restricted features.
• Account and activity checks for consistency (e.g., repeated failed age gates, mismatched details).
• When appropriate, additional checks such as requesting government-issued ID, validating name/address/date of birth against reputable databases, verifying payment method ownership, or other reasonable verification steps.
• Ongoing monitoring and periodic re-verification for certain features or risk signals.

If we request verification, access to some or all features may be limited until verification is completed.

3) Suspected underage use

If we suspect an account is being used by, created for, or accessed by someone under the legal minimum age, we may take steps such as:

• Requesting additional age verification.
• Restricting access, suspending the account, or closing the account.
• Canceling or withholding access to age-restricted promotions, withdrawals, or benefits to the extent permitted/required by applicable law and our terms.

4) Parents/guardians: request review or removal

If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us or is using our services, contact us to request an account review and, where applicable, removal. In accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), the site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal minimum age of 20.

To help us locate the account, please include: the username (if known), the email/phone used, the minor’s approximate date of birth, and your relationship to the minor. We may request additional information to verify your identity and authority to make the request.
